Slow page loads — Our engineers are responding

12/31/08, 7pm PST: Some wikis are experiencing slow page loads and 500 errors when wiki pages attempt to load. Our engineers are aware of the problem and working on it.

There is no data loss and we estimate a relatively quick repair of the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience and wish you a Happy New Year’s! We’ll keep you updated here.

7:03pm: Our engineers have put a fix in place to repair most of the problems. We’re continuing to monitor page loads, but anticipate that most operations work smoothly again. Have a happy holiday!

  1. Hi,

One page in our wiki has become unresponsive at this time. We are getting repeated errors stating: “Sorry, your request has failed to reach PBwiki servers. Please reconnect and try again.”

    Any help will be appreciated.

    1. Hi John,
We’re not seeing any downtime on our end at this time (03.16.09), the next time you begin to see the same error message on your wiki page please contact support.

Also, this post is from December and doesn’t represent the status of our systems now in March. To check the status of our systems in real time, look for the status update at the top of the blog (right under the title Daily Peanut). Right now it says ‘Running Smoothly’
